“Just do it”? Yes and no. True, we shouldn’t hesitate to do good to those who deserve it when it’s within our power to act (Proverbs 3:27). However, it is also true that we need to guard against blindly following foolish impulses that deplete the time and resources we should be giving to more worthy causes. A good question to ask is “Who am I doing this for?” If it’s for yourself, maybe you should think and pray before you leap. If it’s a selfless act of love—and God is prompting you to move—then by all means, just do it! Time is ticking away. (1 Peter 1:22-25)

Reading this helped me make a decision I’ve been fighting for several years. I’d love to go to Medical school one day but reading this has helped me see that that goal is for me.
